TME expands fuse and holder offerings

Fuse holders for high voltage designs and with safety certifications have been added to TME's portfolio.

The distributor offers Conqueror's wide current rating cylinder miniature fuses. The cylindrical fuses are designed for through hole mounting. The miniature fuses are suitable for overcurrent protection on PCBs with limited available space. They are supplied with a plastic housing to reduce flammability and to withstand harsh, outdoor, environments.

The ABE25A250V is a cylindrical, ceramic fuse and the MSF3.15A250V is a miniature through hole fuse. Both are rated for 250, 420 or 500V AC and 315mA to 30A. The fuses can be used in consumer electronics circuits and LED lighting systems, chargers and power supplies.

The distributor also offers the FX0285 and FX0360 fuse holders from Bulgin.

Bulgin's FX0285 and FX0360 fuse holders are certified to international standards, namely UL, VDE, CSA and IMQ. They are manufactured from flame retardant nylon and polyester and operate at a temperature range of -20°C to 90°C and are flame retardant to UL94V-0.

The holders are manufactured to handle 250V AC and are designed for 5.0mm x 20mm and 6.3mm x 32mm fuses. They can be cable, PCB and panel-mounted.
